Having trouble paying for your order with Klarna?

If you have any trouble placing an order with Klarna, it could be due to one of the following reasons:

  • Klarna may have rejected your application to pay on account. We'd recommend choosing another type of payment or placing an order for a smaller amount.
  • You may have outstanding payments on previous Klarna invoices.
  • You may have missed a required field at the checkout, such as filling in your Date of Birth.
  • You are using a pre-paid debit card.

What if I want to return?

Only pay for what you keep. If you return some or all of your order, Klarna will issue you with a new statement as soon as the online store processes your return. If you have an upcoming payment due date – sit back and relax. If there is a delay in the online store registering a return Klarna will issue a new payment due date for the stuff you decided to keep.

What if I can’t pay my Clearpay instalment?

Should you be unable to pay your Clearpay instalment a £6 late payment fee will be charged to your account. An additional £6 will then be charged is the missed payment is not made within 7 days. Late fees will not exceed 25% of the total order. Please refer to the Clearpay website for more information.

What if I want to return?

Clearpay returns follow our standard returns process. As soon as we have processed your return, the funds will be credited to your Clearpay account. Please refer to the Clearpay website for more information.

ZIP Pay

Zip enables you to pay for your purchases over four automatic instalments, interest free! This allows you to pay when it suits you best.

  • To have a UK issued Visa or Mastercard (both debit and credit are good)

When will my payments be due?

Payments are automatically scheduled to be taken fortnightly. You’ll pay 25% upfront, then 25% fortnightly for the next 6 weeks. Zip will attempt to take payment during the day. If this fails, or if you'd like to make a payment earlier, you can log in to your Zip account via the Zip website and manually make payment. Be sure to pay before midnight to avoid a late payment fee of £4.

What if I want to return?

Laybuy

Laybuy lets you receive your purchase now and pay later - spread the total cost over 6 interest-free weekly payments. No extra charges, always interest-free!

How to use Laybuy

  • Log in or sign up to Laybuy and complete your order in seconds
  • Choose your payment day, view your schedule and select ‘pay now’ to complete your order
  • Your order is on its way. Payments will be taken each week automatically

What you need to get started:

  • To be at least 18 years old
  • To be a resident of the United Kingdom (excluding Ireland), New Zealand or Australia
  • To have a valid debit and credit  
  • To have a valid licence or passport
  • To have a valid and verifiable email address and mobile telephone number

Before you can use Laybuy you need to provide Laybuy with your full name, residential address, email address and your mobile number for the credit check/verification.

Laybuy will also need your Visa Debit or Credit Card details so that they can deduct the amounts in connection with your purchase.

How much does Laybuy cost and is there a fee?

Laybuy doesn't charge you any interest or upfront fees. If you miss a payment, you will be notified immediately. A late payment fee (£6 GBP / $8 USD / $10 NZD or AUD) may be charged in respect of each payment you fail to make on time. Any payment default may also result in Laybuy’s debt collection service contacting you and/or your credit score being affected.

What do I do if my email or phone number is already registered?

It may be that you have signed up with Laybuy a while back but don't remember the number or email used.

You won't be able to create a new account, but Laybuy's Customer Service Team can help you get access to your old one. Please reach out to their Customer Service Team with the following information so that we can resolve this as quickly as possible:

  • Your Phone number
  • Your Date of Birth
  • Any other email you may have used to sign up

 Why did a payment get taken when I first placed the order?

 Although Laybuy provide you with a limit to spread the cost of your order, the first payment will always be taken at the time you place your order. This is required to establish your order, the remaining five payments will then be split equally using your available limit. If there are any issues with this initial payment, please reach out to Laybuy directly.
